By using LinkShieldAI, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Security tools reduce risk, but no phishing detection system is perfect.
1. Use of LinkShieldAI
- You may use LinkShieldAI only for lawful, authorized security, moderation, development, research, or operational purposes.
- You must comply with Discord's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines when using the Discord bot.
- You are responsible for your server configuration, API keys, integrations, account security, and how you act on LinkShieldAI results.
- You may not use LinkShieldAI to harass others, spam, attack systems, evade security controls, perform unauthorized scanning, or violate any law or third-party rights.
2. Accounts, API Keys, and Access
- You must provide accurate account, billing, and contact information where required.
- You are responsible for keeping API keys and credentials confidential.
- You must notify us promptly if you believe your account, API key, or integration has been compromised.
- We may apply rate limits, usage limits, security controls, or plan restrictions to protect the service.
3. Restrictions
- You may not resell, sublicense, repackage, or commercially offer LinkShieldAI services or bot-based applications without written authorization from LinkShieldAI.
- You may not reverse engineer closed-source parts of the service, bypass access controls, scrape protected systems, or interfere with service operation.
- You may not submit malicious traffic, excessive automated requests, or content intended to degrade the service except through a clearly authorized testing arrangement.
- You may not misrepresent LinkShieldAI results, branding, affiliation, or ownership.
4. Security Verdicts and No Guarantee
LinkShieldAI provides link scanning, reputation, and anti-phishing signals. Results may include false positives, false negatives, outdated information, or incomplete context. You are responsible for reviewing results and making final moderation, security, or business decisions.
5. Availability and Changes
The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, pause, rate-limit, suspend, discontinue, or modify features at any time, including to protect users, improve detection, manage costs, comply with law, or respond to abuse.
6. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate access without notice if we believe there is abuse, excessive load, non-payment, chargeback activity, security risk, legal risk, violation of these Terms, or misuse of LinkShieldAI. You may stop using the service at any time.
7. Payments
Paid plans, API usage, cancellations, and refunds are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy. You agree to pay applicable fees and keep billing information current.
8. Intellectual Property
LinkShieldAI names, logos, software, services, documentation, threat intelligence, and related materials are owned by LinkShieldAI or its licensors unless otherwise stated. Open-source repositories are governed by their own licenses where provided.
9. Third-Party Services
LinkShieldAI may integrate with Discord, hosting providers, payment processors, package registries, browser platforms, or other third-party services. We are not responsible for third-party services, policies, downtime, or content.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LinkShieldAI and its owners, operators, contributors, and affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, security, or business opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the service.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LinkShieldAI from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service, your integrations, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of law or third-party rights.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and applicable jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless a mandatory local law says otherwise.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Continued use of LinkShieldAI after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
